Job Advert 2 – Kitchen Assistant / Trainee Baker
WE’RE HIRING – KITCHEN ASSISTANT / TRAINEE BAKER (PART-TIME)
We’re looking for someone to join our kitchen team at Jake’s Bakes in the Market House, St Austell.
This is a part-time role (Monday–Friday mornings) with the opportunity to grow into something bigger as we expand.
What you’ll be doing:
- Helping prepare lunches for large orders
- Learning to bake some of our most popular recipes
- Supporting the day-to-day running of the kitchen
- Occasionally serving customers when needed
- Contributing ideas (think: sandwich of the week, new bakes, specials)
This role would suit someone who:
- Has some kitchen experience (preferred)
- Has recently finished college and wants a career in food
- Is creative and enjoys coming up with new ideas
- Is a problem-solver and takes initiative
- Is happy working in a fast-paced environment
- Is friendly and confident with customers
What you’ll get:
